You’ve been carrying so much for so long.
Compassionate support for deep‑thinking adults navigating overwhelm, identity shifts, and the pressure of always being the strong one.
A safe, calm space to explore your experiences and foster a deeper sense of your true self.
My approach is integrative and trauma‑informed, shaped around what you need rather than a single method. We’ll move at your pace, with space for whatever you’re carrying, in confidential, ethical, BACP‑aligned support.
Who I help
I work with thoughtful, emotionally aware adults who often feel everything deeply — the world, relationships, responsibility, and the weight of old patterns that no longer fit. Many of the people I support are navigating transitions, identity shifts, burnout, or long‑held trauma that’s ready to be understood rather than carried. If you’re someone who thinks a lot, feels a lot, and longs for clarity, steadiness, and a more grounded sense of self, you’re in the right place.
Ways we can work together
Our work can take different shapes depending on what you need — whether you’re exploring who you are becoming, untangling long-held patterns, or finding steadiness through nature-based sessions. These pathways offer different ways into the same intention: helping you feel more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.

A Little About Me
I am Louise, an Integrative Counsellor offering a safe, trauma-informed haven for reflective adults. Many people I work with feel stretched thin or are navigating major life evolutions and want to find a more gentle way to exist.
- My work is centered on humanistic focus and personal meaning, utilizing psychodynamic perspectives to understand your past relationships. I integrate CBT with body awareness to help you stay present. We approach every session with deep care. We meet for 50-minute blocks, starting with an initial conversation to see how I can best support your needs.
I am here to help you harmonize every side of yourself—from the parts that feel burnt out to those ready to flourish. We move at your speed to establish clarity.
BACP registered and WPA approved provider.
Free Initial Call
I offer a 15–20 minute, no-obligation introductory call to help us determine if my approach is the right fit for your needs. It is a gentle space to talk through what is on your mind.
Completely confidential. No pressure and no commitment required.
How I Can Support You
- Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who feel overwhelmed beneath the surface. You might recognise yourself in some of these experiences:
• Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on alert”
• High‑functioning stress and burnout from holding everything together
• Using alcohol or other coping strategies to manage big feelings
• People‑pleasing, overthinking, and struggling with boundaries
• Feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck, or unsure
• Navigating life transitions and identity shifts
• Wanting to understand and gently change long‑standing emotional patterns
• Processing past experiences that still shape your present
My Philosophy
I believe therapy works best when it feels human, steady, and genuinely attuned to you. We don’t rush, fix, or force anything. Instead, we explore at your pace — making space for the parts of you that have been coping alone for a long time. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and honesty, helping you reconnect with who you are beneath the pressure, the expectations, and the old patterns that no longer fit.
Settings & Environment
I offer sessions in a range of settings, depending on what feels most supportive for you. Hawkswood Estate provides quiet woodland paths and a sense of being held by nature, while Jubilee Park offers a gentler, more open landscape with meadows and flatter ground for a slower, steadier pace. For in‑person indoor work, I have a private, comfortable space in Bickley with its own entrance and a light‑filled conservatory — a calm, contained environment where you can settle, breathe, and speak freely.
